ESD #2 Coverage Area

Montgomery County Emergency Service District #2 covers approximately 232 square miles in Northwest Montgomery County.  The district bounded by Grimes County to the west and Walker County to the north.  Lake Conroe makes up a large portion of the eastern boundary.  The boundary heads generally south from Hwy 105 at Pine Lake Road to Lake Creek.  Lake Creek makes up a large portion of the southern boundary.  The southern boundary heads due west from the intersection of Jackson Road and Cushing Road to Grimes County.

The district has very diverse geography.  Population density ranges from the rural areas in and aroudn the Sam Houston National Forest to high density neighborshoods along the western shore of Lake Conroe.  The district is also experiencing growth in commercial and multi-family occupancies.
